Welcome Dr. Carly Rose to Our Practice!

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Carly Rose to Bloom Family Eye Surgeons. An accomplished optometrist and nationally recognized leader in dry eye disease, Dr. Rose brings extensive experience in advanced dry eye diagnosis and treatment, comprehensive eye care, and innovative patient-centered solutions.

Originally from the Greater Cincinnati area, Dr. Rose earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Kentucky University before completing her optometry degree in Chicago and a residency at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center Eye Clinic. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and has been recognized for her excellence with numerous honors, including Newsweek's America's Best Eye Doctors (2022), the Theia Awards of Excellence (2024), and the American Optometric Association President's Award (2025).

Driven by both her clinical expertise and her personal experience as a dry eye patient, Dr. Rose has dedicated her career to advancing the understanding and treatment of dry eye disease. She has owned and operated successful private practices, established a primary care residency program, implemented cutting-edge technology in patient care, and lectures internationally on dry eye management. Her commitment to research and innovation has made her a trusted advisor to leading pharmaceutical and medical technology companies.
